For those on the contend about trying to draw a pony: My teacher says that my writing is hardly legible but my offset drawing came out amazing. Try it and i guarantee that it will come out better than you expected.

my outset was crap also!
So i read the guides, used references to describe some other. 'It' looked bad.

And to those on the debate (similar I was), as long equally you lot don't endeavour, you can still tell yourself that you might exist able to describe a proper pony, merely one time you pick up that pencil, you tin't fool yourself anymore.

@Rarity's Augar Many people employ different programs for their art. Many utilise Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator for vectors. Others use gratis programs like Gimp, or Inkscape for vectors. Other programs artists mutual;y use include SAI, Art Rage, and Paintshop Pro, though I've never tried these myself.

I'm wishing at that place was a chart depicting the proportional differences between male and female ponies. It's proved to be a major stumbling block when cartoon OC ponies.
