How To Draw Asian Eyes Tumblr
Anonymous asked:
I take no thought how to draw asian optics. I run across the differences in photos and even in artwork but because of my heavily stylized fine art (peculiarly around the eyes) i don't know how to replicate it. I don't even describe the crease higher up the middle in caucasian eyes. Do y'all have whatsoever advice for this kinda affair?
Hello! We recently posted a tutorial on this - please endeavour scrolling downwards through the blog! :) You should come up upon it fairly quickly.

Practise you also take creatures like driders or anything similiar?
Yes, that should be fine!
Proceed in heed that for fantasy creatures yous should give usa as much info in the comments every bit possible about what y'all want us to focus on. It'southward especially important to include the proper name of the creature when yous submit, considering we'll need to find references for it when we redline. :)

Hey practise you guys have any references for poses for couples? I love your guy'due south blog and I hope yous accept a farewell!!
Hmm… I think there's probably way less sources for interacting couples than in that location are for just one-person references, but how nigh SenshiStock on Deviantart? They take an entire gallery dedicated to interacting couples posing for references.

Mod Seraphtonin'south chiming in to say that @posereference on tumblr has a tonne of good poses, some of which are for couples too!

How do I color eyes that are bullheaded?
Hello!
This is kind of a fork-in-the-road question because the answer is:
You color them equally usual! There is no such affair as specifically 'blind' eyes. A lot of blind people accept optics that look just like sighted-people's eyes.
But I think you MIGHT exist referring to the milky-white coloration that results from cataracts or other damage to the eye.
"The opacity is commonly caused by traumatic injury, disease, overexposure to UV light, infection of the heart, etc - the cause of the opacity (eg, if a disease or trauma to the eye) could be the crusade of blindness too. Cloudiness of the lens is called 'cataract' (the lens is only the middle clear function of the heart surrounded by the iris)." (source)
Although common cartoon tropes make bullheaded character's eyes white or opaque (similar Toph in ATLA), it's not true that all blind people have white eyes.
This is important considering every bit an artist, y'all should endeavour to research a niggling bit well-nigh the things you lot draw before you draw them and so that you don't end up reinforcing potentially harmful stereotypes.
For more than info, Mod Em has recommended videos by Molly Burke! They dispel some mutual misconceptions about blindness and should be very educational. :)
IF and only IF you specifically want to depict your graphic symbol with cataracts or with milky-white coloration for a reason, I call back the simplest and most direct mode would exist to make an actress layer on your cartoon programme, cover the eye with a new, white layer and lower the opacity until you're satisfied.
Then, accept your eye
make a layer that is just a white circle that covers the iris
and lower the opacity of the layer until you get the desired effect
This is only a simple way to do it, but if you wanted to PAINT optics that have cataracts, so you lot'll have to exercise the legwork and do color studies by looking at references and recreating the colour combinations.

Beloved the feeling of this! :D I also dearest large ears on characters, and so perhaps I'm biased. I fixed up only a few very basic things. If it'due south non articulate, I drew his jaw in merely to explain the anatomical placement of the teeth, not because information technology should be visible. :)

Hey, thanks for the submission! My last word on this would be - endeavor to draw using references, expect at photos on tips on how bodies are built and… don't be afraid to try new things! The perspective you lot chose is very neutral - merely bespeak blank 90 caste view. Sometimes, though, information technology's more than fun to place your characters at a more than dramatic bending. :) You can study cartoon camerawork for this!
